Enjoy being on one of the last glaciers in the central Colombian Andes. Reach the glacial edge of the Nevado Santa Isabel of the Los Nevados National Natural Park in one day.
As it is an activity that starts so early, we suggest that you sleep and rest very well a few days before the trip, avoiding the consumption of liquor.
If you have any heart or lung disease, for safety reasons, refrain from doing this activity.
It is suggested to bring food supplements such as fruits, water -without gas-
In case of fatigue or tachycardia, stop, breathe deeply, drink some water and regulate your heart's normal rhythm.
Gradually regulate your physical condition according to the fatigue caused by the altitude, do not run, do not agitate, do not consume liquor or cigarettes before or during the tour.
The height factor above sea level generates changes in the physiological part, which brings some frequent health alterations, so it is suggested to promptly attend to the rules and recommendations given by the guides and officials of Los Nevados Park.
This exercise is not recommended for children under 6 years of age or adults over 70 years of age.
Food: It is in peasant houses with food from the region. Vegetarian or vegan menu can be handled.
The experience is not recommended for people with recent surgeries.
Single-use plastic bottles are not allowed. Preferably you have to carry a small bottle.
