If the objective is to go whale watching, it is ideal to travel between July and mid-October. The months of July and August, as well as the end and beginning of the year season (December 20 to January 15), Easter and all the festive long weekends of the year, there is a large influx of visitors and tourists in the area, if you want to avoid tourism massively it is suggested to travel on other dates.
Accommodation: The hotel has Wi-Fi in some common areas. However, due to destination conditions, the connection may be intermittent. It will be helpful to bring a beach or microfiber towel. In the rooms, there is a power supply, which allows devices such as phones or cameras to be charged without any problem. In addition, some rooms are equipped with air conditioning, while others have a fan and some of them have views of the sea or the jungle, this assignment is made by the hotel based on availability. It is NOT recommended to take the flights that go from Medellín to Bahía Solano at 6:00 am and return from Bahía Solano to Medellín at 7:30 am since due to boat operations it is not possible to operate at that time. If the tickets are taken at 6:00 am, travelers will have to wait until noon for the host to pick them up and take them to the hotel and return for the 7:30 am flight. They would have to leave the day before the end of the experience and spend the night in Bahía Solano on their own to get to the airport on time.

Activities: The main activity in the destination is the walk to Playa los Deseos, which has a medium-high physical demand, since it is an extensive route with some inclination on the trail, it is necessary to wear pantanera boots, if you do not wear them , your host has a rental service with a cost of approximately $5,000. However, there are also additional activities included in the experience such as: the hike to Riachuelos de Juná and a visit to the Nabuga Waterfall.
