The municipality of San Luis is part of the eastern Antioquia region at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level, located 124 kilometers from the city of Medellín, the main access route is the Medellín-Bogotá Highway, between the municipalities of Cocorná and Puerto Triunfo .

From Bogotá by public transport you have different options, we will tell you about them below:

Option 1: You must go to the Salitre Terminal and take public transportation to the city of Medellín, you can ask the different transportation companies, the cost per trip on average is between 60,000 COP and 80,000 COP, inform the driver to get off at the Crossing San Luis, Antioquia on the Medellín-Bogotá Highway , until this point the journey will take approximately 6 hours. While there you can take a taxi to take you to San Luis , Antioquia , it will be approximately 1 hour to get to your destination.
Option 3: Take a flight, there are different airline options that you can consult from Bogotá to the Jose María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro. From Rionegro, Antioquia public transportation with the company Flota Granada, the trip costs 20,000 COP on average and the distance to San Luis will be 3 hours depending on the traffic. From Medellín by public transportation , you must go to box office 15 of the northern terminal of Medellín, directly to the Flota Granada company, the value of the ticket is approximately $23,000 and the transportation leaves every hour on average from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 18:00. The journey can take approximately 3 hours . If you travel by private vehicle it may be 2 hours and 30 minutes taking into account that there are not so many stops.
